Championship Format
1) The maximum time allowed to host the Championships will be 12 days,
with the final day being scheduled for a Friday or Saturday, unless
otherwise agreed by the Federation and the IBSF.
2) The Round Robin Stages - will be made up of:

*Both Stages to be played on the same day. The
number of groups may be increased at the discretion of the IBSF to
ensure the completion of the Championships within the allocated time
period
3) Semi-finals – Both matches to be played the best of 13 frames over 2
Sessions on the same day – First Session a possible 6 frames and the
Second Session a possible7 frames. The match will be stopped in the
first session when one of the players has won 4 frames.
4) Final – To be played the best of 19 frames over 2 Sessions on the
same day – First Session a maximum of 9 frames and the Second Session
the possible number of frames left. The match will be stopped in the
first session when one of the players has won 6 frames.
5) All sessions will be subject to possible change in time and frames
played if requested by the Host Association and agreed by the
Championship Committee.
